“Caitlin’s Extraordinary Treats” Pop-Up Event

  • Location & Hours: Long’s Bakery on North Tremont Street is hosting the event from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 1, offering exclusive donut drops, giveaways, and other promotions while supplies last.
  • Store Makeover: Promoted via a joint post by sports apparel retailer JD Sports and Long’s Bakery. The donut shop closed early Wednesday to prepare, decorating its facade with blue signage featuring Clark’s logo and the message: “Nothing special to see here. Just Caitlin’s Favorite Donut.”
  • Clark’s Absence: Clark will not attend the Indianapolis event, as the Indiana Fever flew to Las Vegas on Wednesday evening for a series-deciding Game 3 of their WNBA playoff matchup against the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday night (9 p.m. EDT tip-off).

Nike ‘Caitlin 1’ Details and Active WNBA Milestone

  • Pricing & Launch Colorways: Retailing at $140, the shoe debuts in “Caitlin Blue” and “Warning Code Yellow,” with additional colorways and a signature apparel line scheduled for future release.
  • On-Court History: Clark first wore the shoes publicly during a June 18 game against Atlanta at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. She later gifted pairs to her Fever teammates after returning from Germany, where Team USA won its fifth consecutive FIBA World Cup championship.
  • Exclusive WNBA Club: The launch makes Clark the fifth active WNBA player to receive a signature shoe.

Player Reflections and Regional Launch Campaign

  • Clark Statement: Speaking during an interview in Germany at the FIBA World Cup, Clark noted: “I don’t even think that’s something I dreamed about as a kid, because it felt so far away from something that I could ever achieve… I was always a kid that wanted the coolest shoes and I’m so excited.”
  • Indiana Promotional Events: The bakery takeover is the latest in a series of local launch events, following the installation of a new billboard near Gainbridge Fieldhouse last week and a Nike-hosted Game 2 watch party on Tuesday at the Holiday Drive-In Theater in Rockport, Indiana.
